A musical compilation of some of the classic 8 bit game tunes. Performed by the Video Games Live orchestra. Also check out the Metal Gear Solid music: www.youtube.com
@nicha112 Actually, in this one you are. In fact the people hosting VGL encourage this behavior. I actually went so I know, rather than people complaining online.
Folks, I attended this event. It’s a fun, crazy, interactive show. The orchestra doesn’t expect everyone to be quiet. They even supply the music LIVE while an audience member plays Frogger — complete with creating the sound effects on the fly! Cheering your favorites is part of the fun. Plus, there are lots of kids there.
If you want respectful silence, go to the Berlin Philharmonic. If you want to have a blast, go to Video Games Live.
@NiHuWi And in what sense is this a formal orchestra? The creator is a fucking guitarrist for god’s sake. I’m not, in any way, criticizing you, I just want to show that the art of videogames is much greater than those ancient conventions.
