Top Ten Most Disturbing Bosses in Non-Horror Video Games

PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION. A list of the Ten Most Disturbing Bosses I have ever faced in video games that aren’t in the horror genre. I don’t consider Castlevania a horror game- not when compared to Resident Evil or Silent Hill. NOTE: This is not the Top Ten “Scariest” Bosses. These bosses are either gross, disturbingly strange or just plain disturbing. ANOTHER NOTE: This is the first Top Ten I’ve made in which I have used video (albeit not my own footage)!

Hahaha, how about Servant Avenger from Fate/Stay Night’s original eroge? It’s also overtly portrayed as an infant, but it’s far more disturbing. And it’s being “given birth to” by your woman (not literally, spiritually). And she’s walking around barefoot on a cave floor wearing nothing but darkness/evil in the shape of a long-sleeved dress. ‘Course, that requires giving “final battle in a novel game” “boss status”, and since you don’t really “play”, that might be a bit of a stretch.

I’ve never played any of the metal gears, but #3 did look fucked up.
I’d agree that giygas is probably the most disturbing boss in a non horror game though.

Giratina? That’s just pathetic. That isn’t disturbing at all. You want to see something disturbing? Play Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and get to The Bunker level.

@jimboshennan Did you even bother to look at the title of this video? It says NON-HORROR video games. They can be from any time, as well

@Lucario907 The skeleton fish (forgot what it’s called) in water sector also was quite disturbing. As was the security robot in fire sector. As was the hole entire game, lol. I find this game about as scary as RE 4, and definately scarier than RE 5. Half-Life 2 is very creepy during “We Don’t Go To Ravenholm”. I guess sci-fi is becoming the new horror. Just look at Dead Space.

  14. Lucario907 Says:

I agree that some of your choices aren’t THAT disturbing, nevertheless, is a shame that people only enter to troll, i mean is your opinion and we must respect it, still is a nice list, and number 1 is quite accurate. Good videos.
