We got our hands on the unaired Wonder Woman and Locke & Key TV pilots to find out why they’ll never see the light of day. Television pilots are the first, trial episodes that determine whether or not new series are given the green light. Dozens of these are made, and only a few are deemed good enough to earn full series pick-up by the networks, so there are many good and bad shows alike that the viewing public never gets to see. Alex, Dan, and Jeff have gotten a chance to see two such pilots, whose subject matter is so exciting to a geek audience that it is shocking they’ll never make it to the screen. Why were the David E Kelly Wonder Woman pilot and the adaptation of Joe Hill’s awesome comic book series Locke & Key not green lighted? Find out inside. @JuberLOL Not disagreeing. The difference in opinion is probably a good thing for the show. I was just saying how I find myself agreeing much more often with Jeff, and having almost the opposite reaction that Alex has.
Off topic: Dan needs to break the show more like he did in the old days. That Surrogates episode is probably one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen in my life.

anyway we can see the pilots?

@landoncheek I do find that Alex is a bit more “bro’ish” in his tastes, which is not a BAD thing, in fact I think it helps to balance the opinion a lot. If they all had the exact same opinion as Jeff it would be boring. Remember when Dan 2012′d everyone?
I do follow Alex’s opinion quite a bit but maybe it’s just an Alex thing (my name is Alex that’s the joke)

@snowman2149 OK… I was speaking more in general, but sure.

I’m not hating on Alex, but one of the things I’ve learned for my own judgements is something like this: “Jeff likes this thing? It’s probably pretty damn good. Alex doesn’t like it? Wow, it must be amazing!”

The Whole Corporate Wonder Woman & that everyone knows her secret identity, kinda ruins it for me.What makes Wonder Woman a true hero is her goals & morality, plus sense of Justice.still would like to see that pilot. But I still prefer Linda Carter as the one original Wonder Woman.even thou she was the 2nd.,Being Cathy Lee Crosby(70’s & early 80’s That’s Incredible host)the 1st. Wonder Woman, that two had a problem.she wore long pants in it,no tiara as far as I remember.recommend it

I’ve heard much of the same thing from other sources who have seen the Wonder Woman pilot, but this is the first I’m hearing of the Locke and Key pilot. Good stuff.

Why is Dan all sweaty and wearing a dirty orange jump suit? Looks like he just broke out of prison.
