Square Enix has been dropping cryptic clues today, all of which revolve around a newly announced game titled Murdered: Soul Suspect. The company has confirmed the name of the game and its platforms–PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360–but hasn’t officially said much else. The campaign kicked off by asking various sites, “What is the hardest case to solve?”
It looks to be a classic viral marketing campaign, with some riddles for the collective brain of the Internet to solve. A Twitter account has been dropping links to more clues, for now consisting of a split image that can be put together to form the symbol found on the Twitter icon. The official site (via VG247) has an evidence page (password: Ronan) that produces the image above after logging in.
Superannuation has suggested that this may be the horror detective game from Airtight Games that was uncovered earlier this year. We’ll have to wait until the puzzle is solved to know more details, but crowdsourcing tends to take care of these things pretty quickly.
