Actually there was only 2 sucessful shooters on a console, that is Medal of Honor for the PS1 and Goldeneye for the N64.

Ahhh, Halo: the reason I bought an Xbox, and am a loyal customer, which paved the way for consoles and FPS to dominate the gaming market. Admittedly, the nostalgia factor doesn’t go as much as Crash Bandicoot and Spyro on the first console I actually owned: the Playstation.
