Fruit Ninja juicing up Vita this week

Vita is home to a number of popular mobile games. Halfbrick’s Fruit Ninja is next, hitting Vita tomorrow.

The PlayStation.Blog (via VG247) revealed the release with little fanfare. A price wasn’t given with the announcement, but the game costs 99 cents on the App Store. One of Halfbrick’s other most popular mobile games, Jetpack Joyride, hit Vita late last year as a free-to-play game. Over a million people downloaded the PSN version.

Fruit Ninja has you swipe your fingers across the touchscreen to slice through fruit as it’s tossed in the air, while carefully avoiding bombs that are mixed in. If for some reason, you’ve never seen it, this is what it looks like:
