Probably my favorite game of all time, I can’t remember last time a game had me this hooked and interested in both the story and the gameplay. Hope they make more games like this, where you don’t have to mindlessly take on 20 people with guns, much more fun to stealth in my opinion.

So, he failed so many times and is happy that’s his “unique moment”. So in you’re world Adam Jensen is a total retard and a fuck up, Lol.

Great review! Every review just gets better!
Gamestop: 8.5
IGN: 9
Machinima: 9.5
OXM: 10!
For me, it was a 9.5! Somethings were a little rough around the edges and funnily enough I had the exact same problem with that mission as he did. It’s so rewarding to do missions that way.

@sponpatad I agree its not one of those games that you beat and just forget about in a week, as a matter of fact I found myself playing this game for more than 8 hours within a single playthrough and I loved the fact that you can go run and gun or stealthily.
One of the best games I have ever played without a doubt.

@sponpatad In my opinion, it also has the best combat and hacking gameplay ever! Not social. Mass effect´s social interation is better.

Lawrence needs to do more reviews. I’ve yet to see one review of his where I felt that he missed something important or was unfair to the game

Human Revolution was not worthy of the Deus Ex name. You have regen health, one shot kill moves, and a stealth system that’s too easy to walk past anyone. I got the game on release. But to call it anything but a disappointment to the franchise would be a lie. I wish they would just look at the original game mechanics and recreate the engine with better graphics instead of trying to fix up game systems that were never truly broken…. H.R. is just a shooter with borrowed Deus ex themes.

October 20th, 2011 at 9:41 pm
@mani75961 trophies
October 20th, 2011 at 9:53 pm
@mrbamboozle1 lol. because of the trophies. and i didnt even get them all. and i just wanted to sneak one time through then blow everybody up the second and so on. i think its the first person sneaking that got to me.
October 20th, 2011 at 10:14 pm
@YoungMLoks then…. maybe it’s the style? like the color palette? and why did you beat it 3 times if you didn’t like it? i think that’s why you don’t like it. you’ve played it so much you’re now bored of it.
October 20th, 2011 at 10:22 pm
@YoungMLoks why did you beat the game 3 times if u didn`t like it?
October 20th, 2011 at 10:31 pm
@mrbamboozle1 no i found this game super easy. i beat it like 3 times. and i know how to play games like this. i just didnt like it. i like the sneakin in metal gear not this. and the persuasion part is way too easy. and most upgrades were pretty useless. la noire and heavy rain have more interesting conversations and mysteries.
October 20th, 2011 at 10:46 pm
@YoungMLoks well, if you’ve played the original you would kind of know what to expect. this kind of game isn’t really like wow at all. wow is more of a kill everything game, where you just need to have the health and level to beat monsters. this game is far more slower paced, and requires you to assess your situations and micromanage to get the most out of it. like the other dude said, its just not your genre. its k brah
October 20th, 2011 at 11:29 pm
@cogar488 wow. thanks for being nice about it. i was expecting a sort of a-hole comment. lol. and yeah i guess i was expecting sumthn different.
October 21st, 2011 at 12:02 am
@mani75961 well then it should be perfect for me
October 21st, 2011 at 12:30 am
@YoungMLoks Its a game for those whith higher intellectual skills.
October 21st, 2011 at 1:06 am
@YoungMLoks Well mgs and dc universe aren’t RPGs, and WoW is an MMO, so that’s probably why. It just isn’t your genre. Don’t sweat it.
October 21st, 2011 at 1:46 am
@cogar488 like mgs – WoW -dc unvierse. i just hate this game cuz of the control scheme and the map sucks. its confusing on where to go. and upgrading the augments is cool but there so many and i was bummed i coodnt play the game again with all of them. lol. it was just more annoying then entertaining.

@YoungMLoks Which RPGs?
