Dragon Quest VI’s DS remake is getting the same treatment as Dragon Quest IX, in some regards. Square-Enix has confirmed that the Dragon Quest IX ‘Surechigai’ wi-fi feature will be included in Dragon Quest VI as wel. Here are some specific details…
- exchange data with other real-world players
- DS can be closed and this will still work
- DQVI’s mode let’s you exchange “Dreams for the Future”
- visit the in-game “Surechigai Hall” to activate this feature
- create a character/profile specified with the following details: form, birth place, gender, title, method of speech, message, and “dream stage”
- your characters will visit others, and also speak of your dreams to them
- at least 70 different form types
- 32 types of speech including: “Energetic boy,” “Cute girl,” “Sexy lady,” “Manly man,” “Serious man,” “Quiet girl,” and more
- 64 dream stage locations, including: caves, cities and more
The “dream stage” is the location of your dream. You can select from 64 location types, including caves and cities of various types.
- dreams of other characters are stored on your game card, and you can comment on them as well
