What a day I’ve had. It wasn’t my typical Monday for multiple reasons, but the biggest one would have to be related to the honor that was bestowed upon the site. As I mentioned earlier on Monday, GoNintendo managed to make CNET UK’s top 10 gaming blogs list. I still don’t know how that happened, but I am extremely humbled by being picked.
I also gave a few thank-yous out earlier on Monday, but I didn’t get to go into things the extent of which I would like to. That’s why I’m dedicating my End of Day thoughts post to all those that deserve to be thanked.
First off, congrats to Shacknews, That Videogame Blog, UK Resistance, Touch Arcade, Guardian Games Blog, Destructoid, VG247, Joystiq and Kotaku for grabbing spots on the list as well. All of you earned a very well deserved spot. Now…on with the thank-yous.

Cort for being with the site soon after we moved from Blogger to GoNintendo. His work on the site has been extremely invaluable. Quite honestly, we’d be lost without all of his behind-the-scenes work.
Tduck for getting the site to run better than ever, and putting together a custom build for us from scratch. Tduck is a brilliant guy…so much so that his amazing work scares me!
Bethany for the years of service she put in on the site. Without my Wednesdays off, I might go a tad batty!

The entire podcast crew (Mom B., Nicky Hill, JTS, Lube, Kirby, Stranger, Vitamin G., Woodland, and all the other one-timers!) for coming to our weekend podcasts for over 200 shows now. We have yet to miss a weekend, and I don’t think we ever will with fantastic people like this on-board. Your dedication to the site, and to the podcast itself is truly appreciated. I couldn’t ask for a better group of podcasters, or friends for that matter.
Vincent, our hosting guy. I met him online by pure chance, and he’s gone far beyond the call of any hosting provider. He said that the site was way more work than he ever first thought, but has stuck with us for years now. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate his support.
All of our comic artists over the years. You all helped bring a special something to GoNintendo, and brought some belly laughs along the way.
Touch Fuzzy for our short stint with GoNintendo Radio, which I desperately hope returns sometime soon!

I seriously cannot thank every single reader/podcast listener enough. Your support has been nothing short of staggering. I can’t even fathom making it onto this list, and it would have never happened without all you guys. I’ve told you a million times over how much I love this community, and I’ll never get tired of saying it. There are plenty of people who can call bull on my sentiments, but I truly hope that by now, most neigh sayers know that I’m 100% genuine in my feelings. The GoNintendo community is the best damn community on the web, and I’ll go toe-to-toe with anyone that disagrees. It’s an absolute pleasure to bring this site’s content to you every single day. You not only make this site possible, you have an impact on every aspect of my life. You’ll forever be an extremely deep and important part of my life.
So…long story short…thank you guys. All of you, no matter who you are and where you’re at. It’s an honor to be on this list, and an honor to be talking with you all right now. I’ll see you in just a few, short hours.
