Chrono Trigger is a very popular game, and one of the most appreciated aspects of the title is the music. If you’re a composer that’s planning to rip off the work of others, you might not want to go with a title that is known and loved by millions.
Unfortunately, that’s the situation that Namco Bandai composer Kennosuke Suemora is being accused of. Word is that Mr. Suemora ‘borrowed’ a track from Chrono Trigger for the Super Robot Taisen series soundtrack. He’s also being accused of stealing songs from other titles as well. Worst of all, Mr. Suemora was involved in a settlement in the past for…music copyright infringement. With that said, check out the video below to see if you hear any audio similarities.
