I happen to love Sonic CD’s North American soundtrack. I’ve heard the Japanese counterpart, and I still choose what was released in the states. Those two soundtracks are still hotly debated to this day, and composer Spencer Nilsen knows it. His unique take on a musical approach for Sonic still stands out today, and now he’s sat down for a 5-part interview on his work.
