Here is a list of games that unlike Guitar Hero/Rock Band, can actually teach you a thing or two about music (in terms of theory at least). As a guitarist, I am a huge fan of Jam Sessions for the DS because it can essentially teach you the chords for any of the popular songs in its library, and even help you come up with new ideas while you don’t have your guitar around.
